Ensuring the health and safety of the member’s served in our residential and day programs is the agency’s greatest obligation.
Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) employed by Russell Nesbitt Services are tasked with ensuring that our member’s personalized health care needs are met on an on-going basis. Our nurses make referrals to local health care professionals and specialists as needed while communicating consumer specifical needs with medical personnel in community-based hospital and pharmacy settings. Registered nurses also oversee our Approved Medication Assistive Personnel program to ensure that all medications are administered to our member’s as prescribed by their physicians.
LPNs provide direct nursing in intensive support settings that would otherwise have to be provided in alternate health care locations. LPN services rendered include but are not limited to: wound care, monitoring medically necessary diets, monitoring person specific medical conditions, etc.
